Women across the United States have filed a lawsuit against Victoria’s Secret claiming its bras gave them rashes and other skin irritations. Lawsuits are currently pending in Louisiana, Florida, New Jersey, and New York.
These lawsuits allege that the company negligently designed the bras and misrepresented their safety. The suits allege that formaldehyde in the bras is the culprit of the skin irritations. Specifically, heat from drying release the residue from the fabric used to make the bras.
Attorneys in the various cases, recently petitioned a court to consolidate the cases.
